We invite scientists who are experts in their field to be guest editors and organize a special issue for our journal. Special issues are essential for drawing maximum attention to an important topic in the research community.

We welcome proposals for special issues at any time. The special issue may cover basic, clinical, translation, technological, and other research topics. The manuscripts in the special issues may be short or full-length reviews, researcher articles, short communications, and other types as decided by the guest editor(s).

We also encourage conference organizers to publish their proceedings as a special issue. They may organize a special issue based on the extended or full versions of papers presented at the conference, symposium, or workshop.

If you have an idea for a proposal, please include the following:

- Short CV with a list of publications of the guest editor(s) (and optional co-editor)

- Special issue topic and the proposed title

- The aim and scope of the proposed topic

- Estimated number of articles under the title

- List of potential contributors and titles of manuscripts.

The guest editor(s) will be responsible for the review process of the manuscripts and approval of the final version for publication. Articles in the special issue may be invitation-only or submitted in response to an open invitation.

We look forward to receiving your proposal.
